How Adventurers work in Monster Hunter Outlanders
You take a squad of Adventurers into each hunt. Each Adventurer has a fixed weapon and element, so building a squad is mostly about bringing the element the monster is weak to and covering the three roles: Assault for damage, Disruptor for openings, and Support for healing and buffs. Your own character, the Fated Adventurer, can use any of the 8 weapons.
Rarity is SSR or SR. SSR Adventurers come from recruitment banners (0.6% per pull, with a 90-pull guarantee; see the banner guide), but several SSRs are free: Luka and Pyro from launch events, Haze from the Adventurer's Guild shop. The Monster Hunter Outlanders tier list ranks them, and the weakness chart tells you which element each hunt wants.
